Bahamut from FFX... never color/drawn/whatever like this before, so this is the first time. This is for a Contest [link] on the BnG forums by Liss... I tried pretty hard on this, like at least 4 hours straight on the computer... not to mention how long the pencil took. Yes, everything in this pic is exactly how it's supposed to be, so don't try to tell me otherwise. It's 4:30 am now, so I'm going to bed. Night~!
I really like this one. There's a good 3-Dness to it, especially all the bits on his neck and chest. Nice detail, even though it's blurry. And the rich colors are very pretty.
The fact that you used all the space and brushed in a background adds alot, too. Bahamut would still be neat on a white background, but the overall image wouldn't be as complete or engaging.
If you've noticed, I've actually been finishing things a lot more lately. O_o I think I might be getting better, but I need to pick a style and stick with it. XD
I have noticed you have been better at follow through, and not just in your Art. And it's not about having just one style, are my poems all in one style? That would be HORRIDLY boring.
